New 2008 Weezer CD

the greatest man that ever lived is awesome, the rest is meh. heart songs makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

Weezer was so incredible in the nineties that any following act will be rough. That said, Rivers needs to abandon dissonance. That's my major post Pinkerton criticism.
Dissonance was great on pinkerton, though. Also, the guy on the far right if Weezer's bassist after Mikey. I think he used to play in filter. He has been solid.

I think the new album is great. Weezer's never going to be as good as they were in the 90's (the Matt Sharp days...} but each album since Green has been better than the last.

I'm still letting it sink in as well. I can tell you one thing though, there's nary a mention of manatees anywhere on it!

It is a lot more red than Nerf Herder's 2008 CD. And I think the cover has something to do with the village people. Rivers is the cowboy, Pat Wilson is the college professor, Matt Sharp is the badass, and Jason Cropper(had to look up his name} is Jesus with a better hat.
